Zombie Edition is a mod based on original half-life concept, but you will play as a headcrab and, what is more interesting, as a zombie. Zombies can mutate to change their characteristics into three types and every type will have at least six upgrades including new weapons and abilities. Description
After 1.5 years... It's back! Fixed some mapping bugs, added barnacles, NPC rushers, some alternative ways, scripts, steam icons, final speech (lame one, but I did everything I could) and final music by Toni Karengin. Installation instructions below (click the "+read more" link).

i cant figure out how to install it! i played the original, it was awsome but i couldnt finish it because it glitched. im really lookin forward to this but it wont work!
nvm i figured it out, i feel so stupid...... when shooter andy said "extract" the file, i thought that meant move it........ u need a program like winrar. hope my mistake helped some people
Why cant i break the glass in the very first room of the training?
Its also telling me to switch to openGL mode, it forces me to use software mode when i try switching it does not allow me too.
Something is obviously wrong with your Half-Life. My mod doesn't mess with any graphics, so...
can you tell me how to mod this iv beat it 100 times and i could never get the last update i wun't to speed up updateing so i can use all the update
I have the same problem too, in the first room of the training i can't brake the glass and i can't brake some other things in the camping mode so plz help me

That's why, you either illegally obtained the game or you did something to your game to mess with the files.

Ya dude same. I dont get why that happens. The only differnce is mine dosnt force me to use differnet graphic stuff. But i dont get why i can't break glass. Im using the WON version and i upgrated it to 1.1.1.0 and nothing works. I reinstalled it and applied the patch 2 times and still nothing works. any help?

when ever i reach the part when u hide in the back up the truck it loads next part when its done it just gives me a view of the bottom of the map and i cant do anything and it isnt responding please tell me how to fix this or make a patch
try putting the console command "kill" and it will respawn you to that wooden door, it should work after that

i put the zombie folder in my half-life folder i tried to spawn a headcrab and nothing happened even with sv_cheats i then tried to get a headcrab to attack me later during the story and i died i tried to spawn another headcrab and it took me back to the main menu

I have a little problem. I downloaded the game, put to the correct folder. I want to start from HL with "change game".
Game starter, at first jump, the game crashed.
I made a shortcut with -game zombie parameter, it now doesn't crash, it works almost perfectly, The problem is when I'm headcrab, the security men attacks me, when I'm zombie, the just ignore me. They don't scare, don't shoot me...
How can I fix it? (HL version: 1.1.1.1)

Hi i have installed it but i have an error: Mod_NumForName: models/v_zclaws.mdl not found. I seen that this aplication IS in the models folder but i dont know why this error appears.

So easy to install just download it then click open instead of save then open steamapps put it inside half-life then run half-life before starting up steam then exit out after a couple seconds then it should be on the steam list.
ok you know the teleporting part first try of the game at that part it crashed is this the mapping bug?

I have a wierd problem could you help me fix it i have the old sierra disc version and i got the mod (and i sent it to the steam folder) but when i try to play it it says "Could not load libary d:\steamapps\philip126497\half-life/ZOMBIE/cl_dlls/client.dll

Whenever it loads the game crashes, whenever I log in as administrater (I downloaded this on the Family computer, so my dad's Administrater) it doesn't crash
