This mod is a total conversion for GZDooM. Resident Evil Code Name Hunk, the starring is mr. Death. The story start on 2002, before the end of Umbrella. Hunk and his team were sent to the Umbrella´s facility located in Mero city to retrieve the new samples of the T-veronica virus created by dr. Charles Young.

Before the end of Umbrella, the alpha team of U.S.S. and commanded by Hunk need to collect all the samples created by dr. Young and ex-umbrella scientist responsible of the creation of the TNB virus, a T-veronica variation. The events occur in a complex facility located in Mero city.

For play is necessary use doom2.wad, the gzdoom compatible (included into the file). About how to play, i included a tutorial for installation into the rar file.
An alternative for play without doom2 could be tnt.wad or plutonia.wad or freedoom. Freedoom is free and can be downloaded here:

Another demo, fixed some bugs and changed some codes. No affect the gameplay.
The game looks fine and seems to be funny but i have a problem, i can't reload. I set R to reload but when i press R nothing happens.
hold first the aim button and later press reload, you should read the instructions for play this mod and included into the file.

well i am not good with 3d models, also i really like sprites, because doom use sprites, this is a doom mod, so a retro resident evil mod for doom combine good.

The idea is really good, but available today work is bad.
There are a lot cutscenes in start. Longer than intro of classic Resident Evil games. And it forces player to get bored. Battle system don't make you able to fight with hunters or lickers in small rooms/hallways. If you're fighting with 2 hunters - you are literally f***d. Yes, I remember that Hunters is really dangerous monsters that can kill you by 1 hit (in RE1/Remake), but here it's "PRESS FIRE + RELOAD" every 1.5 seconds. You just can't shoot at them, because somebody will hit you. Need some fixes
you need to be strategic, against 2 hunters, use 2 flash grenades and use the soccer kick and that is all. You right about the cut scenes,for the full version i will include a button for skip that, but only the first chapter happen that. Also i am working to another campaign, more faster, more action, less cut scenes, less puzzles, more battle, is with Krauser, but this character is overpower, the mutant arm, his power full melees, can be balanced with hard enemies, more than 2 hunter at the same time, mr x, etc.
