omg i remember the first time I played Age of Empires 1...I used to run home from school to play it :)
I know I got aoe1 for christmas, one of the best days ever.
I remeamber when i was a kid i always wakedup at 5am to play hidden from my older brother(hes such a ***!).
And the music in AOE1 was always amazing,Why AOE2 didn have MUSIC WHY WHY TELL ME WHY!!!!
i have the same problem but when you have foobar 2000 you can open the music from the CD

Did you guys ever play the game mode lumberjack in aoe2? Some of the greatest fun i ever had with this game, that and occupying my friends town by making them neutral hehe i would bleed them dry then crush them!
I think AoE2 was the first RTS I played, got me stuck in the genre along with AoM, which i found on sale for £2 but turns out it was only £1. What a bonus.
