Capturing the drama and epic conflict of Star Wars, Battlefront II brings the fight online. Attention to detail and scale make this game a joy to behold, with 16 incredible new battlefronts such as Utapau, Mustafar and the space above Coruscant, as well as the Death Star interior and Tantive IV, Princess Leia's blockade runner seen at the beginning of the original Star Wars.

The game itself is already amazing - it brings the Star Wars universe to gamers with a very much complete and immersive combat experience that most other Star Wars titles could not provide (FPS and TPS elements, along with the Hero system and space combat).
But with the advent of so many excellent mods, the game's continuity and replay value are ensured, which is the #1 hallmark of a classic. And as with the original Star Wars movies, the classics are always the best.
Probably one of the last Star Wars shooters that stand out in the market and offer a very unique experience that lives up to the movies.
Now that DICE is in charge, well....lets just say the "target audience" would love to see Star Wars CoD style.

Great game, perhaps my top 5! The controls and buttons to press were a little fishy at first when I first bought the game, but then I got used to it and everything seemed perfect to my taste.
I was very DEMORALIZED that I need to buy a CD in order to mod. I got this off of steam - yeah. I was so hoping to mod for this, but I see I may have to hack into mods to get what I want or have somebody mod for me. :S Disaster right there. It would be a shame if mod tools are restricted for me to use or Battlefront III never came out, but my fingers are crossed.
When (if) Battlefront III comes out, it will be a dream come true. Battlefront II is just..... wow. That is all I have to say!
Star Wars Battlefront 2 is one of the strangely versatile games which somehow managed to accommodate its contemporary canceled sequel. The modding community is quite commendable for supporting a game released 18 years ago

I can't find anything to not like about this game
In my honest opinion this is my favorite Star Wars game, even without mods! That shows that when pandemic made this they knew what they doing, I definitely would recommend this to anyone, who loves Star Wars, and would definitely recommend any of the mods on ModDB, they're all great, so yes, I rate this game a 10/10.
