From the creators of the popular “Brytenwalda” mod, “Viking Conquest” is a brand new DLC for Mount & Blade Warband! This single and multi player DLC brings Mount & Blade to historical Dark Age Britain, complemented by authentic scenes and cultures. The DLC features a story mode with a complex plot, where choices have real consequences, as well as a standard sandbox mode in an all new setting, with expanded options and controls. Online battling also takes on its own flavour, with special modes like Coastal Assault and Warlord.
Hello My Fellow and Faithful Subjects. I wanted to apologize for being out of contact, I've been having family trouble and then I had computer issues that took a bit to get squared away. It's been a few days and this is what we've got accomplished:
Now onto Development. After quite a bit of soul searching, keeping in mind what I want for the mod, what I envision down the road, and after consulting with my team, I have decided to back-peddle a bit and change our Base Mod from Brytenwalda to Viking Conquest, and the following is my reasoning:
What this means is that there will be a steeper learning curve as I will need to figure out what is different about this module system behind the scenes. I would ask for patience as I lead the Realms of Fire and Blood down a different path.
Additionally, in the coming weeks, I will be looking for individuals with backgrounds in 2D/3D Modeling, Texturing, and Scening Development. If you fall into these categories, message my Hand; Dawdlepuss or myself through our Discord Server.
May you all have good fortune in the wars ahead.

I like Skyrim, the TV show Vikings and chronic masturbation, is this DLC designed to fit my needs? do the vikings have horns on their helmets like in real life?
Wait for a mod with the Teutonic Order in it.
v-... viking didn't have horned helmets...
penus
No
Vikings never had horns on their helmets
someone watches tv the whole day about viking without horned helms, or does someone know or is a viking? then don't argue about something you dont know
The horns were developed in the 1950s to add more fierceness to the viking characters. They never once had horns found on their helmets that have been excavated.
According to real life Historians who have actually studied the viking's civilization say that they didn't and that because they were seen as "Devils" Hollywood made them out to be like one.
They argue stuff they know, it's actually a fact: The first scientific studies on the viking culture found during a "tomb" excavation several helmets corroed by oxidation along with horns. since some of the horns could fit into some of the holes of the helmets the arqueologists believed that was it's original position and the word spread through some british newspaper of reknown.
Finally a comic appearing by the time "olaf the viking" make this misconception very popular.
Later scientific studies discovered that actually the vikings buried their bodies with simpolical stuff for the afterlife: a helmet so they won't lack protection and a horn so they won't lack a drink.
