Weskhan, that is the dumbest thing ive ever heard.. look at how many games are being modded (including old & outdated ones)!! What makes it so that farcry can't compete against hl2? nothing.. thats what... farcry kicks arse! the mods will rock! the cryengine is awesome and could stand up against the hl2 engine anyday!
Face it, no one will play these mods because of Half Life 2, I suggest just every single one of these mods move to Half Life 2....otherwise its just not going to be that popular...

if you wanna mod this game , you better be german , or go and learn their language!
also , it's SDK is realeast , but no proper exporters for popular applications yet ( thought they are promised) . and it uses Sandboz as level editing softwear wich confuses me , did original developers used sandbox??? it looks like a user fiendly stupidified level edit softwear . but i don't really know.
i am not sure what to do ... either use half life 2 engine and lose my self in 100s and 100 of it's mod's , or go with farcry with rather a small community...

i have all the requirments, and when i used the recommend settings option, all grafics when to the max!
the gameplay is a thrill, the grafics are the best, and the multyplay is very extended
ubisoft should, however, try to make bigger multy maps, and fill them with a few vehicles(hanggliders, patrol boats, rubberboats, 4X4s, the works)
