Good Strategy game.
As usual with Total War games, Empire: Total War is better when used with mods.
Empire: Total War isn't particularly mod friendly and Vanilla game was plagued with a particularly stupid IA, this is the reason why I can't give it a better rating
This is a very good game and well worth getting. However i do think CA should have put more effort into it as a feel it is not as complete as med 2 or even rome. I also think that selling dlc that adds unique faction units is a scam and should have been included in the originel release.
Great game, the problem are unfortunately bugs, which CA never fixed. Thankfully we got modders, who were able to fix most of the issues, with this game.
I want Empire Total War 2
Ambitious, unfinished and massively underrated.
Empire total war is great for the revolutionary advance in this type of strategy games, although at this time it is quite difficult to handle and even the system is clumsy, it was a spectacular advance in this saga and let's admit that the era in which it is set is fabulous. Sure, it needs fixing, in the midst of 2023 it's pretty rusty, but if the great empire total war community could fix details like textures, skins, add units and even add entire regions, then The Creative Assamble has little to do to really polish this diamond in the rough.
