One of the best World War II real-time strategies around, Blitzkrieg offers over 80 missions divided into three campaigns - western Allied, German and Soviet, and multiplayer LAN/Internet matches support. I am pleased to announce the release of Patch 9 for CFCS Release 7. The biggest thing this adds is the new Communist Campaign for the Korean War, and both Nationalist and Republican Campaigns for the Spanish Civil War. It also features all fixes and tweaks from previous patches and hotfixes, simplifying the install and update process again (as no hotfixes are needed now).

do you base build in this?
sadly no but you can make trenches barbed wire tank traps and somehow idk how bridges but you can occupy buildings and entrench vehicles to make defences
No. This is a pure RTW, based on reinforcement gameplay and unit management. No base building at all, though you can still do stuff like build trenches and plant obstacles and mines in order to reinforce your position. the rest is all about combat strategy.

This game deserves its' place in history... And in the moddb database.
Its' modabilty and official modding tools/resources are a few reasons more for that. I hope it'll live for a long time and bring us more fun every time some new contet for it gets released.
