A tighter focus and more confident plotting sets the stage for what looks to be a satisfying end. The Bad Batch has rarely been this good.
Lots of setup, lots of fun, deep-cut Star Wars lore, but the story itself treads water as important bits of mythology get disseminated. It just takes too long to get moving. The Bad Batch’s formula of missions interrupted by the occasional huge monster fight still works, but needs more focus, especially with the end of the series just around the corner.

This builds upon a lot of the foundations that Season 2 laid, which brings hope that it will be seen through to its conclusion. Paired with some of the other characters who get to encounter similar ideological quandaries and personal revelations, The Bad Batch Season 3 serves up some truly delicious fodder for fans of The Clone Wars clones.
Despite manageable runtimes, fleet pacing, and better-than-ever animation (with her new haircut, Omega no longer resembles a little wooden fancy lad), a certain spark of inspiration remains missing.
I've always liked these guys. It's an interesting story and fits well with the animation. There's a lot of humanity in this group. The evil Empire is as evil as ever and one can only root for the Bad Batch to succeed in their episodic tasks. We'd rate this "If you like Star Wars you'll like this."
