A feast. Hosted by René Redzepi of the restaurant Noma in Copenhagen, it is an arrestingly visual, historically enlightening and affectionate study of some of the humble stuff that has determined the history of mankind.
The Apple TV+ docuseries serves up a fascinating and frequently mouthwatering appreciation of the humanity embedded in every grain of rice or slice of ham.
Omnivore is a visual feast and an informative docuseries about essential everyday ingredients we all use and eat. We just wish it was a bit more warm and personal of a show.
