MODFLOW is the USGS's modular hydrologic model. MODFLOW is considered an international standard for simulating and predicting groundwater conditions and groundwater/surface-water interactions. MODFLOW 6 is presently the core MODFLOW version distributed by the USGS. The previous core version, MODFLOW-2005, is actively maintained and supported as well.
PLAXIS is a powerful and user-friendly package that provides you with the ability to model diverse geotechnical problems from a single, integrated application. It is used by geotechnical engineers globally. From excavations, embankments, foundations, tunneling, and mining, to reservoir geomechanics, users can determine the deformation and stability of geotechnical engineering and rock mechanics to assess the geotechnical risk. PLAXIS 3D: 3D geotechnical engineering software PLAXIS 2D: 2D geotechnical engineering software PLAXIS 2D/3D LE: 2D/3D limit equilibrium geotechnical engineering software PLAXIS Monopile Designer: Monopile design software PLAXIS Designer: 3D geotechnical conceptual model builder software
With exceptional analysis capabilities for both rock and soil, RS2 is your go-to software for modeling and analyzing slopes, surface and underground excavations, groundwater seepage, consolidation, and much more. Slide2 is a 2D slope stability program for evaluating the safety factor or probability of failure, of circular and non-circular failure surfaces in soil or rock slopes. Slide2 is simple to use, and yet complex models can be created and analyzed quickly and easily. External loading, groundwater, and support can all be modeled in a variety of ways.
Developed in collaboration with Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO), this advanced geological and geotechnical mapping analysis focuses on remote and safe capturing. Avoiding costly disruption to production activities while supporting mapping of geological and geotechnical features, Sirovision also permits automatic recognition of mineralogy.
RocFall3 is a 3D statistical analysis program designed to assist with assessment of slopes at risk for rockfalls. The program can determine Energy, Velocity, and Bounce Height envelopes for the entire slope, as well as rock endpoints and impact locations. It can also graph distributions and automatically calculate comprehensive statistics. RocFall3 additionally allows the user to perform both Lumped Mass and Rigid Body rockfall analyses.
