There is a large population in India, and it would be beneficial to launch your product here because there are many streamers. I can assist you throughout the entire process, from the beginning to never-ending support.
This is awful! 😟 (Trigger Warning)
We need to tackle the root of the problem by curbing toxic attitudes and behaviour across the entire gaming industry, not just in specific games. The industry's had this issue for a while, just look at how people act at events.
I think it is easier for studios to look the other way. If they implement change it might hurt their player count as let's be honest, a lot of players like the freedom to say and do whatever they want, even if it's wrong. We all know the toxic games and some people like those games for it.
I still think the easiest solution is to call players out with immediate popups when they act out. I think for most people it would give you a sense of embarrassment if it was pointed out to them front and centre, what they said and did. Better yet, tell the player it has been recorded and noted on your file!
Then if players keep it up, just ban them or, better yet, let them play but turn off their ability to talk or something. The options are vast.
There are so many tools out there now, like Player XP it's not new technology, it's getting the industry to invest in improving player behaviour.

I understand the cost cutting and responding to market forces, but there needs to be some form of balance to retain proper governance, especially given we have so much disinformation and grooming of kids in gaming to turn them into criminals and being manipulated and used by nation states, especially Russia, who has been most effective in targeting gamers.

Linkedin responded with customer service about their shitty legal documents or something like that lol; how do I explain to customer service what criminal law and civil law works? and how global everything works? regarding everything and everything at all? especially morality and rules becuase that's what made America a superpower in the first place but now I believe no matter what America does it has already fallen to number 2 in PPP in GDP, so like just keep accelerating with Pokimane and the DoD disqualifying me for stupid reasons I'd hope; cuz they're facing massive shortfalls in recruitment and loyalty; plus like Twitch is full of bullshitters who love to insult people randomly so how do you recruit from Twitch? That's why the Marines pulled out I think but the Army still hasn't given up on Twitch victims though something needs to be done about Twitch itself.... cuz AOC thinks that the DoD would do "serious" damage to "little kids" with giveaways and Twitch like banned the DoD for "fake giveaways" of xbox controllers or something while ur missing the whole fucking picture. #stupid
2023 digital terrorism and hate report by the Simon Wiesenthal Center.
Key Learnings:
- Reddit again best rated among all competitors in handling digital terrorism and hate on its platform. Nevertheless the B rating also outlines that we will keep working on making the platforms a save space for users & advertisers.
- Twitter (aka X) dropped form a C+ rating in 2022 to a D- in 2023. As reported in the media, advertisers like IBM are escaping from the platform.
-TikTok also dropped from a C grade to D, Facebook/IG and YT remain on their 2022 rating (C and B-).
There is so much IQ in the tech world, yet very little EQ...
Cloudflare is in a shitstorm and rightfully so but we all know, they are not alone and are not the only ones expressing zero Emotional intelligence.
Thanks to Brittany Peach, we got a lesson in objection handling and fight back spirit, expressing that employees are not a "use & through away once done" items. But the most important thing is raising awareness to the missing EQ in tech, something many can relate to.

Twitch has unveiled its Privacy Center to address user confusion regarding personal data collection and usage.
The platform conducted surveys and discovered that many users were uncertain about their privacy preferences and the definition of personal data.
Aimed at transparency and accessibility, the Privacy Center offers clear, actionable information about privacy rights. It was developed with input from community feedback and eliminates legal jargon for better user understanding.
Twitch emphasizes the importance of understandable privacy information and provides resources for users to control data collection and access copies of their personal data.
The Privacy Center also establishes privacy principles to guide ongoing privacy efforts. While the Privacy Center is a step toward educating users, skepticism about data collection promises remains common in the social media landscape.

I love the post below because it gives us important reminders at time when many are going through job uncertainty. Your job is an important part of your life, but hopefully it's not all that makes you who you are.
1: With employment these days being cyclical and people being laid off, industries changing, people having to pivot or upskill...the job/one industry for life era isn't really true anymore. We have to be accepting of change, whether planned or unplanned. While periods of unemployment can bring down moral and bring about stress regarding finances, it's important not to let it affect sense of worth and what you have brought, and can bring to the table.
2. This also brings to mind the way people value different jobs. I've worked in Finance and Education. I always remember the way people react when I answered the ''What do you do?'' question with Investment Banking, compared to Education and training /projects.
The former meant people would be met with people raising their eyebrows, showing approval and even congratulating me! Compared to just an ''Oh okay'' and assuming that I taught children, as opposed to running courses, training, teaching, supporting projects and working with marketing.
Banking got follow-up questions every time. Education didn't get as many.
It was interesting because the role in education was actually much more interesting, there was more to learn and develop skills-wise, there was more travel and was ultimately more rewarding. But I think it often comes down to what they consider is the more prestigious industry, regardless of the role.
When recruiter/firms reach out, they may sometimes do this based on where you've worked as opposed to the role. This can sometimes get you a first call or at least screening. A bit like brand recognition....
Ultimately though, we need to keep perspective, jobs are necessary, important and we work hard to get where we are but we need to remember who we are outside of that. This 'other' part of you can actually often provide value at work. My interest in social media led me to advising the marketing department at a former place of work on better use of their social media, and the result was very positive.
We are multi-faceted human beings and more than a particular role.

Employees - avoid building your personal identity around your professional life. Things like:
- The tech company you work for
- Your corporate title or position
- The amount of money you make
- The business perks you receive
These are all temporary things that can be taken away, or changed in an instant.
They can be outputs of your abilities - but they don’t validate, or legitimize WHO you are.
“You” are more than these temporary, corporate titles and data points.
“You” are your values, character, beliefs, actions, interests, failures, relationships…
All things corporations can’t take away.
PS - my heart goes out to all the Twitch employees affected by the cuts this week.
