After 20 years of working in various roles and across industries, it is time to take a summer break to prepare for the next chapter in my journey. 🏖️✈️ A few years ago, I found my calling in a combination of empowering teams, servant leadership and business growth. At the time, I was very lucky to find such combination and being coached by a Servant Leader type of a Manager. It was a blast! The new chapter fits perfectly in those aspects. 🚀✨ To improve my chances to be successful in the new role, I plan: * relax deeply and recharge - minimize time spent on Linkedin, practice mindfulness* and have a lot of quality time with my family * together with Greg Prickril, practice how to use OKRs to communicate clearly how success looks like and go through few other areas as a reminder about product management best practices * Inspired by Wojtek Jurojc, build new habit of daily deep breath sessions * further improve my self-awareness by practicing journaling * have fun playing pool with friends from Warsaw IT community I will start my new chapter in September 2024. This small but mighty L&D team has taken its (long overdue) first official picture! 📸 This week has been a great moment to pause, reflect, and empower ourselves for speed as we have so many amazing goals to achieve. I can’t believe the vast amount of things I have learned since I started, not that long ago! Like a friend of ours says, “I am a work in progress,” so I have been able to get up to speed on so many different topics, from systems and AI to customer relations and contracts. I'd say I’ve also been given the opportunity to refine my skillset regarding some specific topics such as leadership skills, efficiently facilitating in a corporate environment, how to create global structures for our teams, how to lead with empathy, and how to properly judge our business decisions, among many more that I would need to write down to avoid forgetting them.
