PCB Designers - When designing a PCB it is important to understand that sometimes unnecessary processes that get added to your designs, that aren't required for that certain design, can cause a significant increase to the price or lead-time. An example of how this can impact the price and lead-time is shown below. If you are a PCB Designer and wondering how to make your design as cost effective as possible, please don't hesitate to contact PCB Connect Group to discuss the cost drivers.

PCB design mirrors the human life! Each trace on the circuit board represents a unique experience, shaping the overall functionality, just as life's moments contribute to our character. 👨✈️ Like components on a PCB, relationships and challenges interconnect, creating a fine balance. 🤼 Much like a well-designed circuit, life thrives when harmoniously aligned. Imagine a PCB designer meticulously routing paths to ensure optimal performance – similarly, we navigate our choices to enhance the quality of our journey. 🚴♀️ In both, attention to detail, adaptability and the ability to find beauty in complexity PAVE the way for a fulfilling existence. #PcbDesign #HumanLifeCoRelation #Thoughtful 🙂

Hardware Design Engineer | IoT Solutions Specialist | Transforming Ideas into Innovative Electronics & PCB Solutions | Open to Collaborations & Consultations
In the world of electronics, we often focus on the inner workings of our PCB designs. However, the external packaging, the enclosure, is equally crucial. It's the first thing users see and touch, and it plays a significant role in the functionality and aesthetics of your device. Here are a few key considerations when designing an enclosure: 1️⃣ Size Matters: Make sure the enclosure fits your PCB snugly, leaving room for components and connectors. A well-fitted enclosure not only enhances protection but also minimizes electromagnetic interference. 2️⃣ Material Selection: Choose the right material for your enclosure. Factors like durability, heat resistance, and aesthetics should guide your choice. Plastic, metal, or even custom materials – each has its advantages. 3️⃣ Ventilation and Heat Management: Adequate airflow and heat dissipation are crucial to prevent overheating. Incorporate vents, fans, or heat sinks as needed. Share your thoughts. Thanks. Share, like and Repost. Thanks. If you're looking for a PCB designer don't hesitate to DM me. Let's collaborate to make your next project a standout success! 👨💻🛠️ #PCBDesign #Electronics #EnclosureDesign #Innovation

Sketching isn't only for designers. Sketch of your device concepts can help identify electronics strategy before CAD is created. Also, a sketch can provide a great starting point for CAD resources. Here, I'm exploring a handheld electronic medical device that had the option for side buttons; these buttons could be mounted on the device itself, or they could be part of the disposable accessory. Both system architecture concepts were valid from a cost standpoint, and both are feasible from an electronics standpoint. The decision came down to the mechanical interface. Practice sketching to improve your visualization skills! #sketchyengineering #design

The demand for smaller and smaller circuit boards is growing, forcing designers to reduce distances between components and utilize components with small footprints. An inefficient and/or inadequate layout creates a risk of non-compliance and/or connection issues. Designers must select a layout that meets the needs of each particular circuit. It’s wise to allow space on the PCB for alternative and/or additional components to meet possible future needs. More common mistakes in PB design and assembly here. https://buff.ly/3r3hUZu
