Hey all! Another day another DR3 cinematic... Chapter 3 - Let's Make A Deal This one is pretty great - Gary meets Nick at the club and says that 'his boss' wants to meet Nick's friend, Annie. Apparently the girl Gary brought from the morgue was the wrong one. In exchange, Gary is offering Nick and his friends fuel for the plane that Rhonda mentioned. Nick wants to help and sets off to meet up with his friends. Will he betray Annie? Enjoy!

Many of us have come across these sound effects, yet not everyone might be familiar with their specific names. Here's a tidbit of information to shed some light on that. 'Braams' is a term that often refers to a particular style of cinematic sound used in movies, especially in action or thriller genres. It's a low-pitched sound characterized by a deep, repetitive bass with a rising intensity, often used to build tension or create a sense of impending danger or suspense. This type of sound effect became quite popular after being prominently featured in the soundtrack of the movie "Inception," composed by Hans Zimmer. https://lnkd.in/gCNjYaxT #braams #horns #sounddesign #soundeffects #filmmaking #storytelling

When time is good, time moves ahead very quickly. When time is not good, even a small duration takes very long time. When a movie is entertaining, time moves ahead very quickly. However when the movie is boring, the 3 hour movie appears to be of 6 hours. When we are born, we only have breath. We do not have any name. That is also given to us. When we leave this World, we do not have any breath. The only thing that we leave behind is our name. And the journey between the breath that we bring and the name that we leave behind is called life. Making this journey a memorable one is the objective of life. https://lnkd.in/djca3Yhe

Tired of mediocre video? Let's change that 🎬 | Creative Director at Oak + Rumble, Award-Winning Video Marketing Agency
"Just one last time" x7 😂 But why does it take several attempts to get the perfect shot? The truth is that there's so many variables at play. Coordinating the timing, technical camera moves, focus and framing, acting, etc... And sometimes, getting everything just right requires multiple takes. Take legendary director Stanley Kubrick, for example. That guy was all about the details. He was known to film as many as 50-100 takes of a single scene. That's dedication to the craft on a whole other level. "Brandon, are you calling yourself Stanley Kubrick?" Yes. That was the whole point of this post. Lol, but for real - perfection often comes with persistence and a whole lot of takes. P.S. Thanks to everyone on set for staying patient and trusting the process 🎬 Click here to view the whole project and watch the BTS vlog: https://lnkd.in/gbgTa8Ur

CEO of Guild Collective. Human first brand builder. And helping leaders clearly, confidently, and strategically share their story.
What do you want? What do you really want? Jim Dethmer asks about a version of that sequence in every interview I’ve heard or book I’ve read with him involved. In our culture of compliance, niceness (not the same as kindness), and not rock the boatness, on the surface this question sounds so selfish and provocative. How dare we worry about our wants when the needs of others are so prevalent. We’ve grown disillusioned with our dreams and unaware of our marvelous parts. We’ve traded in the parts of ourselves that make us come alive with the ones that make us feel safe. We’ve hushed the whispers in our subconscious because it’s too painful to wonder if they’ll never become loud roars. We’ve come to grips with the reality that our wants are just wishful thinking because the brokenness and messes of today are too much to bear. We’ve acdepted boredom while keeping beauty and bravery on the top shelf? Fun to look at but never to touch. But does that story have to be true? Maybe so. But naybe not. We were talking about and tossing around this topic today when Brooke pulled up this clip from 20 years ago. His challenge is the same for us all these years later. Maybe the most selfless thing we can do is get clear on what exactly it is we want this life to look like. What do you want? What do you really want? Perhaps we’ve already been given the permission to ask and see what emerges. https://lnkd.in/gfJJFuT7

Hey folks. Another experiment incorporating Midjourney + Runway Gen 2 + other A. I. shenanigans. Thanks for the feedback on previous videos/songs. Appreciate it. More Funkuncle videos on my YouTube page and songs on Spotify. Links: https://lnkd.in/g2CJvKyY For the film makers: This video looks simpler than some of my other posts but it took a long time, and still it’s creaky as hell. Welcome to the uncanny valley! It’s currently a pain in the ass to get the A.I. gods to generate matching shots of the same actors (and creatures) in similar spaces, correct eye lines, and usable faces over the dialogue. I almost didn’t post it (it would be way better with real actors; my preference here, if I was given time, a film crew, and money.) But I think it's kind of interesting to push the tools where they are not quite meant to go yet. I might take the same audio in a year or two and remake it. For sure it will be much improved. Or hey, to my earlier point, just get actors to do it! That would be a great comparison. Any one of my film-maker buddies in? https://lnkd.in/gQxTMKwm
