I'd like to start this week by sharing something positive. The Rookies just wrapped up #RookieAwards2024, and let me tell you, it's been nothing short of inspiring. The passion, talent, and creativity on display by all the entrants is something you need to see for yourself.
The judges and I have already spent countless hours going through the 6,815 entries (35,000+ reviews so far), covering everything from VFX and animation to games, design, concept art, digital fashion, web, and product design. The skill and dedication these artists have put into their work is unbelievable. We're talking about short films fit for top film festivals, personal projects that would give Lead Artists a run for their money, and AAA-level games that should be topping the PlayStation charts.

If you're a recruiter, I urge you to take a look. These artists have the talent and creativity that will shape our creative industries in the coming years, with or without your company.
If you're a digital artist, take a look and get a super-charged shot of inspiration straight to your eyeballs.
Most of all, I’d really like to use this opportunity to help connect these amazing artists with all the recruiters, pro artists, and all-round legends in my network.
