First 2 weeks in, and what can I say…
Well, ADLIB Recruitment | B Corp™ has lived up to every expectation that I had and more, I joined Adlib due to the way the business was positioned and the way that the staff and business are ran. I can 100% say that this is completely accurate.
Joining a new business is always a worry, an element of not knowing what’s true and what’s made up, I can say that at this point it feels like the best move of my career.
Here’s what’s made these first two weeks special.
I’ve got the love back for Recruitment - booking an interview reminded me this week why I do what I do… (deal pending 🤓 )
I'm being asked how I would do X, Y, Z and ultimately there is interest in my view and what I would do in certain situations. Previously I felt it was expected that I would fix, and solve others' problems for them as here at Adlib more people want to know how I think and why I think in the way I do. And I have countless hours to spend with people who want to learn and grow.
I’ve seen a change in the office within the first two weeks which is only going to improve us as a business, and as an employee-owned business, it only works to everyone's advantage.
It reminds me of when I played rugby and that we can only win when we pull together, and work as a unit.
The people here are great.
I’ve not been asked to post this nor have I had it proofread by our marketing team/CEO/MD.
This is about as raw as it gets for me - luckily spell check has kicked in and it’s readable… Dyslexia is always fun when trying to type something personal that others can understand that isn’t me!
Adlib will be growing, especially the Tech side, so if you’d like to hear about what we could offer, thinking about a change. I’d be delighted to have a chat with you.
We will be growing across the UK Tech (London, Manchester, Leeds) and EU - Contract and Perm across multiple disciplines.
Nick Dean / Steve Kay - Thanks for an amazing start and the interview process was certainly worth it!
Thanks to all at Adlib in the various teams that have made me feel welcome, and I'm looking forward to what the future holds for everyone here.
