We are extremely pleased that the Deputy Chancellor and Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection, Robert #Habeck intends to personally visit our #DIVEplus project at #gamescom2023. It is planned that Mr. Vice Chancellor #Habeck will visit a total of four exhibitors at the booth: #microsoft, #rocketbeans, #astragon, #mimimigames and our project DIVE+. We are particularly pleased about this, as we only have about 0.004% of the total exhibition space at gamescom 2023 available for the presentation of #DIVEplus, a simulator that combines the experience of #vr and environmental #simulation in a disruptive way, so that e.g. sun rays, wind speed and wind direction can be experienced authentically and different scenarios can be experienced almost real. Last weekend, I joined a Global Game Jam 2024 event hosted by ÜNOG and YTU Startup House , located at Yıldız Teknik Üniversitesi . This year's theme was "Make Me Laugh" and to make a game , I partnered with Egemen Ertuğrul and Gamze Altay. We made a VR game called "The Killing Joke", a game where we play as a king and give instructions to our jesters to "make us laugh".We made it under 48 hours. We have used several game mechanics to improve our gaming experience. Those mechanics are: - Speech-to-Text (Wit.ai) : For receiving user prompts given by the player. - ChatGPT API : For generating jokes and puns based on what is received by the player's input and the prompt we gave beforehand. - Text-to-Speech (Meta SDK) : For turning the texts received from ChatGPT to voice-text, so that player can hear what jester is saying. - Hand Gestures (Meta SDK) : For using interactions that works with unique gestures. Game uses the text received from ChatGPT and splits it into each jester, so that each jester can make a unique joke. Player then can use thumbs up/thumbs down gestures to decide jester's fate.
