Lost In Immersion Podcast Episode #50 is out! 🥽 We have our hands on the Apple Vision Pro for a couple of weeks now. The updates on the persona are amazing, really closing in the gap on an uncanny valley. We also created a test application using the Unity game engine and loaded very high polygon models to see how much we can push the beast! 👾 Roblox is a super popular social gaming platform, and it’s available on the Quest. However, they are facing a classic issue with user-generated content: as the worlds need to be adjusted for VR, many of the existing and famous games are not compatible. But when they are, it’s a great experience! 🤖 At MWC a couple of weeks ago, Humane AI did live demos of their AI-driven assistant. The device seems slow and impractical to use: we are still in the early stages of this wearables category. As Guillaume said, if a device involves friction in its usage, the result should be outstanding compared to the existing battle-tested experiences. Are we there yet?
