He's definitely the ultimate design authority around here. Klaus Busse, Head of Design, begins his presentation in an unexpected way: with a question. Or rather, THE question, “What if we go electric?" A question that sparked a monumental change, one you're all witnessing firsthand. From that very question, Klaus has experienced a multitude of "goosebump moments." Let's hear about a few, straight from the man himself. #Maserati
Maserati, resta sui motori a benzina
I Still prefer my 2014 Maserati Ghibli SQ4 engine noise is still King 🏎️.
We do not want electric cars, they are not environmentally friendly and having a sports car electrified is a very big mistake especially because it’s been done already with atrocious results. We want V8s and V10s, not heavy useless EVs, especially from a glorious brand like Maserati. On the Granturismo, you already dropped the V8, I see none around, how come I am not surprised?
Go electric and go broke.
Maserati, I think the car buying public are disagreeing with the direction given the latest sales figures. Over the years you’ve been forgiven for poor infotainment systems ( my 2014 Centennial has a 1980’s infotainment system),poor build quality, poor spares support, all because the cars are stunning and the noise produced is epic. The looks and sound though are a package. If you want people to come to the brand then you’ve got to improve the situation for older vehicles support, like Porsche. The Classiche programme is glacial with its roll out. Perhaps the rumoured link with Ferrari again will help with the direction.
🙄 Elettrico? ecco il modo giusto per affossare definitivamente questo glorioso marchio italiano. Pare che le case italiane facciano di tutto per autodistruggersi.
