Is strategy as a word overused & misused?

This is so important! There is no such thing as a “stupid” or “bad” question. We all learn and interpret information in different ways. Diversity in the workplace makes this even more important to understand, because not only will question variety increase but so will variety of answers, ideas, and feedback. We all remember playing the game “telephone” as a child, right? Imagine a workplace like that game. - The only information you know is what is told to you. - You can’t ask for clarification. You only have one shot to hear what the person before you tells you. - You are expected to inform the next person you interact with what you “learned” despite any lack of confidence in fully understanding what you were told. - Ending with the final answer’s accuracy being warped. It’s funny when you’re a kid. It’s not funny when it’s your career. Don’t ever feel afraid or ashamed to ask questions, personal or professional situations alike! If you ever are made to feel embarrassed for asking something, maybe you should ask yourself to reevaluate that situation.
