One of the coolest things about being part of a thriving remote culture at CRC ☁ is how we find so many fun ways to stay connected everyday. Besides our work channels on Slack, we have what we call the "Interest Based" channels. We use a tool that solicits folks to share their interests and when three or more indicate a shared-interest a new channel is created! 🎉 Let's dive into 5 of our most active channels - because we think working hard and staying connected are both essential to our culture: 💅 5. RuPaul's Drag Race: Sashay, shantay! Our team member’s love for glitz, glamour, and fierce competition finds its home here. Every week, we're spilling the tea and celebrating our favorite queens from new episodes. 🌈 🎸 4. Discovering Music: From indie to classical, K-pop to country, this is our jam (pun intended)! It's like having a personal DJ, 24/7. New tracks? New discoveries? New obsessions? We drop them on this channel! 🍲 3. Cooking: When our team members are hungry for some culinary inspiration, they head over to our cooking channel where our foodie family shares mouthwatering recipes, and cooking tips. Bon appétit! 🦹🏼♂️ 2. Anime: From discussing latest episodes to sharing fan theories and manga recommendations, it's otaku central here. Believe it! 🤖 1. Today I'm proud to give an update on how it's going: • We ran interviews • Collected market data • Confirmed our idea is solid • Spent weeks building a killer pitch • VCs are interested: we’ll sign the term sheets soon • Next steps are hiring an engineer to build the product • And do online marketing to start generating revenues (...) I hear some version of this story every day. IT MAKES ME WANT TO SCREAM!!! Stop falling in love with your ideas: • Focus on a realistic prototype and build it in a week • Start generating revenues immediately • If it doesn’t work, fail fast • Collect learnings • Start again “But I’m not an engineer!” I'm not an engineer either. I've scaled Airbnb and Taxfix in Italy. Now I'm building my business with a small team of pirates. And that’s exactly what we are doing. Whenever we get stuck, we ask ChatGPT and friends. How does it feel six months after selling The F Company to Precis? It's been a great ride, with many areas upgraded to the next level overnight. We're already offering this added expertise to some of our clients. 🔥 Incredible support network. It's no longer just Ravi Kumar and I against the world. We're supported by other Partners who understand exactly what we're dealing with. 🔥 Global community. With 600 teammates in 10 countries, The F Company feels like we're truly going global. And soon we'll get to meet everyone at the yearly Precis Festival in Stockholm! Things that take time: ⏳ Operational integration. From accounting & HR systems to contract templates, we're upgrading everything at once. Both awesome and time-consuming. ⏳ Service offering. While fun and stimulating, it takes effort to combine the service offering of two B2B teams. ⏳ Self-identity shift. After 7 years of growing an agency from scratch, joining a large org as a Partner takes getting used to. ⏳ Finding a new office. Moving offices is like moving houses, both exciting and exhausting.
