Great day in Stockholm at IAB Sverige's programmatic annual, big props to Kenneth Danielsson and team for such a well attended and dynamic event! Some tidbits from the day: Lots of talk on emerging trends in Scandinavia, with Sweden being such a mature digital market, there are certain expectations about speed of adoption/growth- with Retail Media and CTV being the respective elephants in the room. 🇸🇪 "Sweden is not the US or the UK in terms of market size or commercial agility" was a common theme when approaching the topic, with the consensus being that retaining cross industry relationships on a national level would be key in shaping a unique value prop vs global giants who will invariably make moves. Will be very interesting to follow as the key retail players make their first moves 👀 Minimalism vs maximalism - have we reached diminishing returns of too many programmatic partners? Unification of tech stacks, taking back control and building a more sustainable transaction chain - now there's a challenge! Always great hearing Daniel Knapp bring the macro-level view and seeing the longer perspective on the current turbulence facing the industry Till next time 🙌
