What discourages women from entering the cybersecurity security field? As of 2023, women only make up 20–25% of the cybersecurity field globally, according to research. 57% of working women say job security is an important attribute they look for in a job description, yet only 37% believe that cybersecurity has job security. Cybersecurity is experiencing exponential growth, making it one of the most stable job markets globally, with sustained projected expansion. In an attempt to change the perception women often have towards the cybersecurity industry, The Female Quotient have collaborated with Deloitte to raise the visibility of 30+ top women leaders in cybersecurity by showcasing their achievements and advice to the next generation.
