Singapore is honoured to have hosted gamescom asia 2023, one of the largest e-gaming events in Southeast Asia. Held at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre from 19-22 October, the event welcomed a record-breaking turnout of over 34,000 visitors and 136 exhibitors from 67 countries. Key highlights from gamescom asia 2023: 🎉 Made-in-Southeast Asia Over 80 games that were developed in the region were showcased. 🎤 The Trade Conference Over 80 global industry experts spoke across 40 talks and panel discussions. 📹 Content Creators Summit The inaugural summit drew gaming content creators and executives from platforms, agencies and publishers. 🎮 Entertainment Zone Featured regional and international companies like Capcom, PlayStation, Ubisoft and more. #Singapore serves as a dynamic destination that fosters collaboration within the gaming industry and offers Asian game developers a platform to explore global partnerships. This week marks Gamescom, the world's largest video game trade fair with over 300,000 attendees. The event highlights gaming's huge cultural and economic footprint. While Germany generated €10 billion in gaming revenues in 2022, other countries lead in gaming penetration - the percentage of the population considered gamers. Japan and South Korea have consistently topped penetration, unsurprising given their gaming prowess. The UK is expected to overtake Japan by 2027, with 70% of Brits as gamers. Though the gaming market contracted in 2022 to around $182 billion, it still dwarfs revenues of music, film, and streaming. Mobile gaming alone generated $92 billion. Gaming has clearly gone mainstream. But the industry faces headwinds like economic woes and oversaturation. Gamescom will be a key forum for developers and platforms to attract new audiences through creativity and innovation. By delivering inclusive and immersive experiences, gaming can cement its status as the preeminent entertainment medium worldwide.

Yesterday was the electrifying grand final of a record-breaking Six Invitational in São Paulo. Working with our colleagues and friends at Ubisoft on the biggest event in the BLAST Rainbow Six calendar, we achieved: - Over 9,000 tickets sold and fans in the arena per day - nearly 30,000 in total over the weekend - Record-breaking viewership of over half a million peak viewers, from all over the world - a 65% increase on the previous record of 300k - Economic impacts of over $12M for the city of São Paulo - 7 commercial partners including JBL, Lenovo, Intel, Eureka Ergonomics, Kingston Technology, CTRL, and Aura - An immeasurable atmosphere and experience!
