UI/UX Hackathon Participant | Figma | Graphic Designer | UI/UX Designer | Full Stack Web Developer | NIT CSE'25
Hey #connections, I am thrilled to share that my team and I recently participated in our first ever hackathon of 48 hours (organized by Tutedude)! 🎉 In this #hackathon, we were challenged to create a UI for a meditation mobile app using Figma. This was the first hackathon for all three of us, so we had no idea what to do. But are engineers, so we found a solution and completed the challenge. But the first day was just panic, panic and panic. How will everything happen? What we will do? But with friends there are always moments of laughter. "Problems toh hai sabke saath, bss nazariye ki hai baat." We learned and enjoyed a lot in this hackathon. We have learn many new things. Things like: 1. User Persona 2. User Flow 3. High fidelity design 4. Team Management Here is the File link:-https://lnkd.in/ghNCqCru Enjoyed more in this hackathon because it was new experience for all of us! I'm thankful to my teammates Manas Moon & Prutha Sakhare Sahkare for becoming my teammates. And ofcourse grateful of Tutedude for organizing this hackathon and opening new opportunities with this. #uxuidesigning #hackathon #teamwork #figma #tutedude #48hours #sleeplessnights #engineers

And while preparing for a session, something inevitable happens: I get super excited and can't wait for the event! So what will my presentation at the No-Code Appathon be like? Join the event to find out. 😁 https://lnkd.in/dGkRufZj

I've spent 4 challenging evenings working on a financial literacy app idea together with a newly formed team - Taiga Lazdāne and Elina Iskova - in the #openFinHack. This time I took an unusual role for myself - the idea author and the team lead. And I have to admit - leading a team to success is much more demanding than I thought before. Although our solution didn't win any prizes, the hackathon has opened opportunities and showed a way how the idea could be realized. To give you some insight into what the idea was about - an educational game based on real-life financial scenarios and supported with real data to help the player understand how their life decisions correlate with their long-term financial situation. The idea itself has received great feedback and if it is improved and developed it could benefit people in the long run. Financial literacy in our day and age benefits our lives greatly and lets us live the life we desire not the life we can afford. Addtionally, a small glimpse into the prototype (and my first-ever attempt to use Figma for prototyping) in the added video.

UXHacks held a hackathon focused on the MyGate app. MyGate is an app used by residential societies, particularly in cities, to manage access control for visitors such as deliveries, cabs, maids, and guests. The challenge was to improve the Activities Screen of the app, which is used by residents to view approvals they have granted for entry into the society. The focus was on the card layout, style, and the information displayed on the cards. It was fun, and helped me improve my design and problem-solving skills.

Got questions about what’s happening with #Jamboard this year? As the end of Google support for the app and device approaches, we take a look at the impending changes, how you can keep using your whiteboarding files and what alternatives there are. We explore the role of Figma, Lucidspark and Miro in this transition, both in giving you the ability to continue editing the files you had in Jamboard and in retaining the whiteboarding functionality on Board 65 and Desk 27. 🔗 Read the blog post here: https://lnkd.in/dH8aJk_c 🦎 #GoogleMeet #FigJam #Lucidspark #Miro
