- [Instructor] So what are some strategies you can use to make sure remote employees can feel seen and heard during your meetings? First of all, you can make sure each employee understands the Zoom tools we covered earlier which are intended to make it easier for each person to get the attention of the person running the meeting or other attendees. So you'll want to make sure each a attendee is aware of the existence of the Raise hand tool. That way they can get the meeting leader's attention without interrupting the person who's currently speaking. Familiarizing everyone with the other non-verbal tools like the reaction buttons, is another way to give your virtual attendees more tools to be seen and heard. Of course, as the moderator or leader of the meeting, you'll need to keep an eye on each participant's screen so you can see when people are raising their hands or using the other non-verbal tools.
