Setting exposure and focus
- Now, when it comes to capturing imagery, we have to keep in mind both exposure and focus. The one thing about your iPhone camera is that it does it for you. You simply tap and automatically it's going to set the exposure and focus based on that point. But there are a few additional things that you can do to separate the two of them, not to mention have a little bit more control. Let's take a look at a few examples. So while the iPhone tries to make adjusting exposure and focus as easy as possible, there are a few things that you should know in order to have the best control of your cameras in multiple shooting environment. So first off, what you need to know is that you can set exposure and focus by simply tapping on the area when you're using the native video app. You can see here that I'm tapping on this red truck and this is going to set both the focus and exposure towards the red truck. If I tap in another area of this frame, you'll now see that there might be a bit of softness…
