Chasing the best light: The Sun Seeker and Golden Hour apps
- [Instructor] In video production, there are certain times of day when the sun is out or has just set which are more desirable to shoot in than others. And this is why I rely on two apps when it comes to iPhone video production. One is called Sun Seeker and the other is called GoldenHour.One, and both are available from the App Store. I'll do a search for Sun Seeker here in the App Store. Sun Seeker - Tracker. So I'll choose to open it, and let's explore some of the different options that we have. If I tap on the bottom left, here are the settings. Now, you can show different projectories of where the sun is going to be in the sky at your current location. Not to mention solstices and the equinox, if that's important to you. Personally, I have this turned off in both my views that are available, the 3D camera view and the flat compass view, for that information, that's why it's checked off.
