- [Narrator] In Salesforce, your goal with leads is to drive toward conversion, or it's to determine that the lead is not a true prospect and mark them unqualified. But what do I mean by qualified, lead qualification is all the work that you do to gather information about the person, their level in the company, are they a decision maker, and more information about the company. The budget, readiness to purchase, timeline. It's all the detective work that you do to determine if this person and the company will potentially buy what you offer. That is lead qualification. Organizations usually have a customized process with their defined milestones and lead statuses. It's the role of the sales rep to capture the research, the milestones, and the ultimate qualified decision in Salesforce. You can access your lists of leads in a few ways.
