What is DALL-E?

- DALL-E is OpenAI's text to image model. It used to be its own product, but is now part of ChatGPT's paid offerings. Now, what we know about DALL-E is a bit limited, but we do know it's a diffusion type model. It receives a prompt, starts off with a noisy image, and then iteratively removes noise until it has a clean and crisp image. Now, DALL-E was trained with a very, very large data set of pairs of images and captions. Keeping this in mind can help us make better choices when prompt engineering to get better results from DALL-E.
