- [Instructor] Socratic prompting involves asking ChatGPT various questions in order to improve the output quality through reasoning. Now, there's an interesting paper about this by Edward Y. Chang that I encourage you to check out. It has various examples of such questions. There's a twist on this approach that I really find useful that involves getting ChatGPT to ask us questions. This can be very beneficial in two ways. First of all, you can get ChatGPT to ask you questions and find out if you are missing some information. This is a good exercise to do in a team. Another benefit of this is it can be a good way of providing ChatGPT with context. Let me show you what I mean. So here I am in a brand new chat and I'm going to go ahead and tell ChatGPT: "You are a branding expert. Come up with five brand names. Ask me questions."
