- [Instructor] Everything, including new blank presentations, comes with about nine different preset content placeholders to make adding content easy. These placeholders are called layouts. Clicking the down arrow next to New Slide on the Home ribbon tab will allow you to add a new slide using a different layout. For example, a title slide, two content slide, comparison, title only, et cetera. I'll add a two content layout by clicking on it. To use the placeholders, click once inside and start typing. You don't have to use all of the placeholder text. Any unused placeholders won't show up while presenting. And I don't even have to hit the Enter key. In fact, if I do hit the Enter key, I'll get a new line, which isn't what I want. I want to go to the next placeholder. So to start typing, all I need to do is click right inside the next one. And finally, I can click right inside the last one without hitting Enter also.…
