- [Instructor] When we were talking about dashboards earlier in this course, I showed you how to use Q&A in a dashboard, and we can also use Q&A in a report, but if we want to edit our data model, we're going to do that here in Power BI Desktop, and then all of the changes that we make to our model are available to the report and are available to any dashboards that we create based on this model in the Power BI service. I want to show you how we use Power BI Desktop to modify a data source so that it better supports Q&A. We're going to begin by choosing Excel Workbook and we're going to open original catalog requests, which you will find in the chapter eight folder in the exercise files, and this is the Catalog Requests workbook as it originally was created. It has a table in it, and that's the table that we're going to use, and I will click load to load it.
