- [Instructor] It can be very overwhelming to see all the features of Outlook at once. It just looks like a sea of text and icons. Now, if you did open up your version of Outlook and it doesn't look like this, it could be that you are on a version that's just a little bit behind that one, which is fine. So in that case, I recommend watching my course Outlook 2021 Essential Training. This is probably going to give you a user interface that's similar to what you're using now, but if your Outlook does look like this, let's move on. Let's break it down into the individual pieces that make up the application. The very top of the screen is the ribbon. Now the ribbon is a tabbed interface across all Microsoft products, as you know, and the more commonly used tasks are in the Home tab, along with any other add-ons that you may be using, and you can always click these three dots at the end and find more commands that aren't as popular…
