- [Instructor] When you post a message or a reply, you can use at mentions, which can specifically refer to a member of your team and also targets that message at them to draw their attention. To start, I'm going to reply to this conversation thread. I'll start typing in my message. And at this point, I want to refer to a specific person. To do that, I'll type the at symbol, I'm not going to hit the space bar. I'll immediately start typing in the first few letters of that person's name, and it searches through the members of this team. It found the person I want, so I can just click on her, and that has added that person's name as an at mention. You can see the text is a different color. And at this point, if you want to keep things a little less formal, you can feel free to delete the last name and just keep the first name and then finish writing your message.
