Sign in to use Teams on the web or the desktop application
- [Instructor] When you use Teams, you can use it by signing in directly on the Teams website, or you can use a separate application that you install on your computer. We'll start by using Teams in a web browser and any user, regardless of your subscription type, can go to teams.microsoft.com. This will work in most web browsers like Chrome and Microsoft Edge, but it does not work in the Safari Web browser on a Mac. Of course, you'll need to sign in with your account, and if you are a business, enterprise, or teams for education user, then generally your company employer or school buys a Microsoft 365 subscription. Then somebody in your IT department assigns an account to you. So you probably have an email address and password set up and managed by your company or school, and that's what you should use to sign in here.
