- [Narrator] The account status in Teams lets people know if you are at your computer, ready to answer questions. Here in the chat section, before I send a message, I can see whether people are available by looking at this colored dot on their account icons. This green dot on Stefan's icon means that he is available. This yellow dot on Daiana's icon means that she is away. The red dot means that this person is busy, maybe he's in a meeting or set to Do Not Disturb. And if you see this gray circle with an X on it, it means that that person is not online at all. You can also point directly on somebody's account icon to see more information. When I point at Stewart's icon, I can see he has this Do Not Disturb message set. And if you go over to a team channel, you'll see that same color dot on people's account icons, and this will let you know who is available and who is away.
