Get set up for calls and meetings
- There are a few things you should be aware of and some setup options you should look at before you start having video calls or meetings in Teams. First, we should look at something in Settings, so I'll click the button with three dots up at the top to open this menu, then I'll choose Settings. Here in Settings, I'll go to the left and choose the category for Devices. So of course you need a microphone connected to your computer to do audio calls, and you need a webcam to do video meetings. Most computers have those built in, but you might want to come here and check that they are set up. You can check your speakers, your microphone, and if you scroll down, you can check your webcam and make sure that that's active. If you have more than one of any of these, for example, maybe you have speakers and headphones connected to your computer, you can open up this menu and make sure you have the right one selected.
