- [Nick] If you share Word, Excel, or PowerPoint documents in Teams, you can edit and co-author those documents with your teammates in real time within the Microsoft Teams interface. Here in this channel, I could click on a file that has been shared to open it from here, or up at the top, I could switch over to the Files tab, and I can open one of the files that have been shared from here. I'll open this document. And since I chose a Microsoft Word document, I am able to edit that document right here in the Teams window. So I could make a quick change here and work right here in Teams. And this only works with Office documents like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Now, you can open and view other types of files like pictures or PDFs, but those will be view only, you will not have the editing options. Near the top right, you can open this Editing menu, and there's an option here to open this document in a web browser.…
