- [Instructor] Microsoft Teams is designed around communication between coworkers within the same organization, but it does support some collaboration between people in different organizations. In another video, we saw how to invite external guests to a team, but you can also send chat messages to people outside of your organization. Teams is set up so any Teams user can contact any other Teams user by chat. All you need is the email address or phone number that person has connected to their Teams account. So I'm starting in the chat section. I'll click the compose button up at the top, and usually in the recipient field I would search for somebody in my organization. But if you have the email address or phone number for another Teams user, you can put that in here. It does have to be an address or phone number that is linked to an existing Microsoft account that is being used in Teams. So I'll put in an address here.…
