- [Instructor] In Teams, you can acknowledge messages without actually writing a response. You can point your mouse cursor at any message, and you'll see the row of buttons will appear in the top right of that message. The thumbs up, and the faces, and the heart are all reactions that you can apply to a message. It's similar to liking a message on Facebook, so all you need to do is point at a message, then choose the reaction that you want, and it will be applied to that message. Then everybody else in this team will see that reaction. So you could use this as a way to acknowledge that you saw and read a message, but you don't actually have anything to say as a response. Or you might use it to show that you're excited or enthusiastic about something. And if you add a reaction by mistake, you can just click on it to remove it.
