- [Instructor] This is PowerApps Home, and we have three choices of how to make apps. This is another example of a cloud-based product that changes because two months ago there were two choices, Canvas app from blank, or in other words, from scratch, or a model-driven app. Model-driven apps are using the common data service which we spoke about later. And then there's a possibility that says I want to just start from my data and create a canvas app. That's what we're going to do. And the reason we're going to do that is, so we can quickly and easily create an application based on a specific data set, that being Dynamics 365. So I'm going to click Start from data, automatically generate a three-screen mobile app then customize it to make it your own. Many data sources and set up with what's called the form factor is a phone. It's going to make something that is more vertical than horizontal and does well as a phone screen.
