- [Instructor] You've been asked to create an organization chart, and after considering Excel and PowerPoint, you realize that Visio is the best choice because all versions of Visio include an org chart template. In this video, we'll focus on creating org charts with Visio for the web. Select the organization chart template to begin. You'll find five stencils in the shapes window, each of which includes either two or three variations on the six basic org chart shapes ranging from executive to vacancy. Click the plus sign at the bottom of the window to add a new page. Select the stencil you prefer, and we'll create an org chart. Drop an executive. A couple of managers.
