- [Narrator] As we look at this worksheet, you might imagine 2 how this could look better 3 or more readable if the data were oriented vertically 4 instead of horizontally. 5 What we'd like to be able to do, 6 and we can do it in a number of different ways, 7 is to select this data here, and in effect, flip it. 8 Imagine a diagonal from the upper left 9 to the lower right, rotate the data. 10 A term we'll be using is called transpose. 11 It's both a technique, 12 and there is a function in Excel called Transpose. 13 So if we simply want 14 to reorient this data without destroying the original, 15 we've got it highlighted. 16 We'll copy it with Ctrl + C. 17 I'm going to click on cell A12 and then use Paste Special. 18 You see the keystroke shortcut listed 19 to the right, Control + Alt + V. 20 Many of you know, of course, Control + V means paste, 21 Control + Alt + V, Paste Special. 22 Here's the button, Transpose…
