- [Instructor] Excel has a category of functions 2 that begin with the letter IS. 3 If you go to the Formulas tab in the ribbon, 4 we see the various types of functions that are available. 5 Under More Functions, you'll see Information. 6 And there's a cluster of them here that begin with IS. 7 Now we don't have the time to cover all of them, 8 and they're not all equally important. 9 These are also being depicted 10 in this blue panel to the right. 11 But, at different times, they're going to come in handy 12 for a variety of reasons. 13 As you look at this list in column C, 14 you probably have already figured out, 15 there are some oddities. 16 The problem sometimes is, though, we've got a huge list, 17 and down in row 700 or 300, 18 you've got a bad entry here or there. 19 So what's going on here? 20 I'm going to scroll down just a little bit more. 21 I think you all know, when you work with numbers and letters…
