- [Instructor] One of Excel's best presentation tools 2 is what we call a slicer, 3 and we see it on this worksheet in action. 4 We've got a slicer under the data 5 that's in columns A through G. 6 You can see also that there are two charts 7 to the right based on the slicer. 8 We're only showing four states. 9 We want to add Texas to the mix now. 10 I'm going to click the gray box for Texas, 11 note that it's not currently in the chart, 12 Texas, 13 it appears in the chart, 14 and furthermore, it had been hidden earlier 15 from the data up above. 16 We're not showing another state there, Pennsylvania, 17 it's in row six. 18 Notice how that's not showing. 19 So you can imagine certain scenarios 20 where you're making a presentation 21 and your audience wants to know 22 exactly what you've just done, 23 you don't have to be repeating it 24 because you can easily imagine 25 anybody looking at this just for a…
