- [Instructor] Excel has any number of different techniques 2 for creating date series. 3 Sometimes you have a need that doesn't seem 4 to fit the standard techniques 5 and we're looking at one here possibly. 6 Let's enter a date series consisting of the 15th 7 and the last day of the month. 8 Maybe you get paid in the middle of the month 9 and at the end of the month, we want to see all the paydays 10 for the year 2022. 11 So we've typed in the first date here, one approach is 12 to use a formula. 13 So if we are going to be using a formula, 14 we might be using some of the functions 15 that are displayed over in column E. 16 And this might not be the best technique, 17 but let's give it a shot. 18 Equal if, let's start with this supposition. 19 If the day of the month for that previous date happens 20 to be the 15th, and it is in this case, 21 we use the function called day as we look at that date. 22 If that…
