- [Instructor] When you're analyzing data from a list like the one we're seeing on the screen here, it's about 700 rows, we might be considering some of the functions you see in the green panel in the lower right-hand corner. If I want to know the maximum salary, I don't even have to use the max function, but it certainly has a role to play at times. Look what happens when I click column G. Bottom of the screen in the status bar, I'm seeing a number of different statistical measures, including the max, 140,549. And by the way, if you're not seeing a lot of entries down here, there can be as many as six, do a right-click in the status bar, and then make sure all six of these are checked. It's really handy because anytime you highlight two or more cells in Excel, you will get some totals here if numerical information is included. So that's really handy, and same thing with minimum, MIN function, we could be using. It's…
