- [Instructor] If you're using Microsoft 365, you have access to a function called XMATCH. This is designed to replace ultimately the match function. It meets all the capabilities of match in a better way and has extended capabilities. I've got a list here in columns A through D on this worksheet called XMATCH, and we're trying to find the first sale from Cincinnati, but also the last sale, and we're also trying to track down sales based on a fiscal year boundary in the middle of the year. Let's first use XMATCH in its simplest way. It'll be just like match, but even simpler. Equal XMATCH, we're simply trying to find Cincinnati in the list. It's in cell H2 here, comma, but we want to look over in column B to see if we can find it there. And that's all we need to do.
